Device technology support also includes field partners and distribution channels. Effective utilization for technology devices and technology services includes providing safe and secure design, infrastructure, process and distribution, along with training, technical problem solving and support/monitoring services. In addition, research, consultation and marketing of effective practices to the Home Office (and Field, where appropriate) to increase usage, streamline processes, improve productivity, fulfill compliance and regulatory mandates, and achieve long-term expense and productivity goals.Our client's Tech Support Service Desk is a professional, fun, and structured work environment with regards to time and detail. If you have a positive attitude and sense of urgency, and commitment to providing quality technical support and excellent customer service, you are a fit for the Tech Support Service Desk.What you would do in this job:Provide first level technical assistance and support to the home office and remote associate’s computer system, hardware or software.Respond quickly and effectively to calls received through the Tech Support Service Desk.Log all incident and requests in a call management tool (ServiceNow); track incidents and requests from identification through resolution.Walk customer through problem solving process over the phone and or via remote assistance.Monitor and respond to the Tech Support Service Desk ticket queue for incoming tickets, thoroughly assess and evaluate the issue and actively resolve or escalate the ticket.Ask pertinent questions to determine nature of the customers’ issue.Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved to the customers’ satisfaction.Create and maintain knowledgebase documents for use by associates.What we'd expect from you:Proficient in supporting, troubleshooting a corporate computing, and mobile environment, including supported software and hardware.Strong Customer Service and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteMust be results oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to remain positive in an active environment and interface with customers in a professional, effective manner.Excellent verbal, written, problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
