Job Description
Seeking a Personal Lines Underwriter working for a private national wholesaler in the pacific northwest. You can work out of a office in Portland, Seattle or remotely for the right futs.
\n \nSeeking candidates working at national wholesalers/MGA's or carriers with retail broker relationships.
\n \n- \n
- Build, maintain, and grow a book of business \n
- Manage agency relationships and serve as lead client contact \n
- Create and execute marketing plan to increase new and renewal business \n
- Rate, quote and bind each risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing for large or complex renewals as well as new business \n
- Develop and submit underwriting referrals to company brokerage facilities and Burns & Wilcox management \n
- Monitor key metrics to formulate corrective action impacting new business hit, renewal retention, premium growth, and loss ratio \n
- Lead, train, and develop Associate Underwriters \n
