Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,198–$2,310 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts; day and evening starts (7:00 day shift; 9:00 and 11:00 evenings) Start date: 09/21/2026 Travel assignment in a hospital OR setting; may float to other OR areas Local vs travel pay nuance: local candidates within 50 miles receive a $10-per-week rate reduction Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care, working as circulating and/or scrub role as assigned per case needs Prepare the OR, ensuring sterile setup, instrument readiness, and proper equipment function Maintain strict aseptic technique; monitor patient status and assist anesthesia as required Assist the surgical team with instrument handling, counts, specimen labeling, and turnover between cases Document intraoperative events accurately and communicate clearly with the team and post-anesthesia care Demonstrate competence in at least five listed service areas (e.g., gen, gyn, GU, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pedi, trauma, spine) Adapt to varying caseloads, participate in on‑call duties (1x per schedule), and collaborate effectively with staff Requirements Active Registered Nurse license (state as applicable) 2+ years inpatient OR experience; scrub experience required; level 1 trauma preferred BLS certification required Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with day and evening start times; on‑call and holiday rotation Competent in at least 5 of the listed surgical service areas; strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness and ability to float to other OR areas as needed Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay range Guaranteed hours 13‑week assignment Travel nursing assignment with 12‑hour shifts On‑call and weekend/holiday rotation Assignment support and travel coordination provided Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
