Stand-Up Forklift Operator / Shipping & Receiving
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Location: Newark, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Stand-Up Forklift Operator to support daily Shipping & Receiving functions in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will safely operate stand-up forklifts, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and maintain accurate inventory while upholding company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklifts (reach, cherry picker, or stand-up sit-down) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
- Pick, stage, and move materials to designated warehouse locations
- Verify shipment accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders
- Prepare outbound orders (labeling, palletizing, staging)
- Perform basic inventory tracking and data entry
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Support general warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 6 months–1 year of stand-up forklift experience
- Valid forklift certification (preferred; training may be provided)
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Overtime available based on business needs
