Job Title: Seasonal Customer Service Representative – Healthcare
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Remote

Operating Hours

Available shifts fall within: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM EST, 7 days a week

Eligible States

Candidates must reside in one of the following states:

AL, GA, IA, IN, ID, KS, KY, LA, MI, MS, MT, NC, NH, NM, OH, OK, SD, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, or WY.

Compensation

• Training Pay: $14.00/hour
• Post-Training Pay: $14.50/hour

About the Role

We are seeking motivated, customer-oriented professionals to support health plan members and healthcare providers with inquiries related to healthcare benefits, coverage, and services.

In this role, you will manage inbound customer interactions, research account information, resolve concerns, and deliver exceptional service while ensuring accurate and timely communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist members in understanding their healthcare plan benefits, coverage options, and available services.
• Answer questions regarding eligibility, authorizations, Explanation of Benefits (EOB), provider searches, status updates, customer materials, and other plan-related inquiries.
• Handle inbound calls from members and healthcare providers professionally and efficiently.
• Take ownership of customer issues and ensure a positive resolution whenever possible.
• Accurately document customer interactions and update information in company systems.

Qualifications

Candidates should meet one of the following requirements:

• Six (6) months of healthcare-related experience preferred; or
• One (1) year of strong customer service experience with excellent phone and computer skills; or
• Six (6) months of customer service experience handling and resolving customer concerns; or
• Six (6) months of office experience where telephone and/or computer usage was a primary job function.
