Are you ready to take charge of dynamic shipping operations in an energetic warehouse environment? We are seeking a dedicated Small Parcel Lead to oversee and coordinate our daily small parcel shipping activities, ensuring our customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

As the Small Parcel Lead, you will serve as both a leader and a hands-on team member within our warehouse. You'll provide direction, support, and mentorship to your colleagues, while partnering closely with departments such as Customer Service, Inventory, and Operations to uphold our commitment to superior service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Coordination: Supervise daily shipping operations by assigning tasks, managing workloads, and supporting team members to meet shipping deadlines. Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in the department.
• Shipping Management: Coordinate and prioritize all small parcel shipments, with a focus on hot, rush, and customer-critical orders to ensure same-day dispatch whenever possible.
• Shipment Accuracy & Compliance: Verify item details, customer addresses, carrier choices, and service levels for each shipment. Ensure compliance with UPS, FedEx, and other carrier requirements.
• Export & International Shipping: Prepare export documentation, including commercial invoices and customs declarations, ensuring all international shipments are compliant with regulations and customer specifications.
• Process Improvement: Maintain an organized, efficient shipping environment. Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and improve service levels through continuous process improvements.

Customer & Internal Communication

• Respond promptly and professionally to shipping inquiries, status updates, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with various departments to resolve shipment discrepancies, address delays, and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or distribution operations, preferably with small parcel systems such as UPS and FedEx.
• Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or similar is preferred.
• Prior leadership experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and physical demands.
