Job Description:
The Lead Teacher is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of the High/Scope curriculum for the classroom. She will provide emotional support to the students and maintain the Academy’s high standards of childcare and the ongoing bonds and safety within.

Daily Responsibilities:
ŸYour daily work hour starts at 800 a.m. and ends at 430 p.m.
ŸEngage with parents during drop-off and pick-up time proactively.
ŸDemonstrate sensitivity and respect for children’s separation from home and daily entry to the program.
ŸProvide a safe and healthy environment for children.
ŸSupervise children at all times throughout the daily routine.
ŸCreate a warm, caring atmosphere for children where their basic physical needs are met.
ŸComplete daily reports.
ŸMonitor sign-in/out sheets.
ŸFill out and submit minor/major incident reports and collect all signatures.
ŸPerform the physical duties involved in the care of children & their environment: including the ability to supervise completely, to change diapers, to clean up spills, to lift & carry children & to take them on walks.
ŸDemonstrate professionalism in relationship with colleagues.
