Opening: Human Resource Administrator/ Executive Assistant to the Pastor
Parish/School: Holy Spirit
Description: Full-Time Position. Holy Spirit Church and School are seeking an energetic, organized person to join our team.
Human Resources Responsibilities
The position will oversee key personnel functions, including:
- Manage and process payroll.
- Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) retirement plans.
- Coordinate and manage annual benefits enrollment.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Track and administer employee leave.
- Complete and maintain documentation for employee transfers and terminations in compliance with archdiocesan guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Executive Assistant to the Pastor Responsibilities
As Executive Assistant to the Pastor, responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for correspondence between the Pastor and parishioners, staff, and others, including letters and email.
- Maintain and update the Pastor’s personal and liturgical calendars.
- Screen and prioritize emails and phone calls.
- Coordinate with archdiocesan agencies and parish committees regarding hospitality and related needs.
- Provide professional and organized administrative support to the Pastor.
