Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist - Home Care Setting

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in beautiful Naples, Florida. Work Environment

This full-time position operates primarily in patients' homes, allowing for a flexible and dynamic work environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and nursing staff, to deliver tailored care. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, with hours available from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, or opt for four 10-hour shifts to enhance work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities to identify movement impairments and functional limitations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on the latest therapeutic modalities including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient recovery, sharing insights and progress updates on treatment effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on home exercises, injury prevention, and strategies to promote long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain. Our clients range from older adults seeking to regain mobility to athletes aiming to enhance performance. You will have the opportunity to work closely with each patient, building strong relationships and observing the rewarding transformations of their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress.
• A strong commitment to fostering positive patient interactions and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, candidates with background in home care and outpatient services will be given preference. Experience with specific treatment methods, such as sports rehabilitation, geriatric care, or pain management, is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package is designed to support your overall well-being and includes:
