Vice President - Equities Product Control

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President – Equities Product Control within CIB Finance. This role supports the Product Control function covering the Equities business, including Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, and Equity Financing. The position is responsible for execution-level P&L reporting, balance sheet controls, and financial analysis, while strengthening technical expertise and maintaining a robust control framework. Key Responsibilities Perform daily P&L production and validation for assigned Equities portfolios, including Cash and Derivatives businesses Prepare detailed P&L explain, including analysis of market movements, Greeks/sensitivities, and key drivers across Equity products Support balance sheet substantiation, including inventory, financing, and derivative exposures, ensuring completeness and accuracy Investigate P&L breaks, front-to-back discrepancies, and unexplained movements; escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner Support month-end and quarter-end close processes in line with firm reporting timelines and governance standards Maintain documentation evidencing control execution, including P&L reviews, valuation checks, and governance requirements Partner with offshore Product Control and shared service teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, and Technology to enhance data quality, booking integrity, and valuation processes Contribute to process improvements, control enhancement, and ongoing automation/strategic initiatives Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Product Control, Markets Finance, or a related financial control role Desired Qualifications: Exposure to Markets products required; Equities product exposure preferred but not mandatory Basic to intermediate understanding of P&L reporting and financial controls Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Experience with Equity Derivatives (listed and OTC), including basic understanding of Greeks and valuation drivers Experience supporting daily P&L and month-end close processes Prior experience working with offshore or shared-service teams Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems and data tools Progress toward or completion of advanced degree or certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent) Job Expectations: This position offers a hybrid work schedule This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
