Irrigation Technician

Overview The Irrigation Crew assists with the care and repair of the irrigation system. Responsibilities Responsible for the watering of lawns and shrubs. Digs trenches for irrigation repair work. Assist in keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe. Use all installation tools according to company safety policy. Maintains, cleans and properly stores equipment. Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment. Other duties as required. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience preferred Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances Valid Driver\'s License required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 – 100 lbs following appropriate safety procedures Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity) Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body Schedule Mon through Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm What We Offer As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and Vision.
