Travel Registered Nurse Skilled Nursing Facility Job

Overview Registered Nurse - SNF travel assignment in Amsterdam, NY. Start date: 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. 5x8 Night shifts (2300-0730). Weekly pay: $1,884–$1,939 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to SNF residents during the night shift, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention as needed Administer medications, monitor vital signs, manage IV therapy per orders, and document accurately Perform ongoing patient assessments; update and follow care plans; communicate changes to the oncoming shift and interdisciplinary team Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhere to infection control protocols, and apply appropriate safety precautions Respond to emergencies per facility policy; initiate basic life support and seek timely escalation Complete thorough shift handoffs, educate residents and families as appropriate, and document care activities in the electronic health record Requirements Current NYS Registered Nurse license BLS certification Minimum 2 years of SNF RN experience Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) Ability to work 5x8 night shift (2300-0730) Every other weekend required Must be able to work at least four 8-hour shifts per week Local candidates within 50 miles are preferred; travel rate may be adjusted for local travelers Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment 24/7 travel support and onboarding assistance Credentialing and onboarding guidance Clear, timely communication and problem-resolution process PAY DISCLAIMER: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
