Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Access Operations in Fort Lee, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will be the welcoming presence for residents, guests, and visitors while supporting access control and security-related operations. You will monitor entry activity, communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and help maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, greet and direct visitors, and verify access in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, building communications, and security-related systems as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
