Principal Specialist, Contracts (Onsite)

Job Overview Location: Tewksbury, MA – 50 Apple Hill Dr, CONCORD BLDG (TB3 300 Concord). Position: Principal Specialist, Contracts – Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors (AISS) sub‑strategic business unit within the Advanced Technology organization. Type: Onsite (primarily). Security clearance: Secret; U.S. citizenship required; eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Responsibilities Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), proposal reviews and coordination, contract negotiation, support program management and executive reviews and general contract administration. Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Finance, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts. Identify, mitigate, and drive resolution of contractual issues as they may arise. Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies. Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and possible mitigation of contractual and programmatic risks. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal partners. Interface with customers for correspondence, contractual changes, and contractual issues. Qualifications You Must Have University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. Experience related to contracts management, program management, business management, or supply chain. Qualifications We Prefer Active Top Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one. Strong contractual acumen with demonstrated proficiency in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Familiarity with Other Transaction Agreements, intellectual property agreements, license agreements, or teaming agreements. Experience managing development contracts in a fast‑paced competitive environment. Proven record of responsiveness with strong time‑management and organizational skills. Benefits Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
