Key Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Ability to provide 1:1 support with care, patience, and professionalism
• Up-to-date child abuse, criminal, and police background clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to student-centered approaches

Role Duties:

• Serve as a dedicated 1:1 paraprofessional during all school days and hours (approximately 35 hours per week)
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom experience for the student
• Support the student in academic, behavioral, and social development, following the established IEP
• Adapt communication and instructional strategies to meet the student’s unique needs
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Document observations and progress, keeping the educational team informed

Contract Details:

• Position runs from the start of the school year through the last day of school (specific dates provided upon inquiry)
• Workdays align with the school’s calendar
