Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPRODUCTION FOREMANRun the floor that turns drawings into finished millwork.McKenzie Craft fabricates custom millwork out of our 25,000 sq ft shop in Miami. We are looking for a Production Foreman to lead the shop floor — assigning labor, holding the quality bar, and keeping work moving against the schedule. Expect to split your time, roughly half in the office on timesheets, work order review, and planning, and the rest on the floor with your team.What you will doLead and supervise shop floor employees through daily productionAssign work and allocate labor against the production scheduleTrain, direct, and give performance feedback to your teamReview production packets at turnover, confirm planned hours and milestone dates, and prepare work order summariesRead shop drawings and verify fabrication matches specificationRun milestone, spot, and final QC checks, and photo document completed workUpdate the Labor Kanban through the shift to reflect real progressIdentify bottlenecks and delays early and correct courseAssign pack, wrap, pallet, and labeling tasks and keep finished goods moving through stagingEnforce PPE requirements and safe work practices, and correct unsafe conditions on the spotOversee tool and equipment maintenance and flag issues to managementSubmit timesheets at the end of every shiftWhat you bringFive or more years in millwork, carpentry, or related fabrication leadershipStrong command of custom architectural millwork, tools, and shop operationsFluent blueprint and shop drawing readingProven team supervision experienceAbility to hold multiple priorities in a working shopWillingness to stand and walk the floor, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear full PPEBilingual English and Spanish preferredSalaried, exempt. Reports to the Plant Manager.
