Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Category Merchandising Analyst to support and optimize online category performance through data-driven merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in e-commerce analytics, digital merchandising, product assortment management, customer behavior analysis, and online sales optimization. This role will collaborate with business, marketing, product, and technology teams to improve digital customer experience and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital merchandising strategies to improve online category performance.
• Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, conversion metrics, and product performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage product assortment, categorization, online navigation, search optimization, and content accuracy.
• Monitor category KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, traffic, margin, inventory, and customer engagement.
• Partner with marketing, product, analytics, and operations teams to execute digital campaigns and promotions.
• Perform competitive analysis and market research to identify merchandising opportunities.
• Optimize product listings, attributes, descriptions, images, and digital content for improved discoverability.
• Support website enhancements, personalization initiatives, and customer experience improvements.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to improve online performance.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve product placement, search ranking, and digital shopping journeys.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–15 years of experience in Digital Merchandising, E-Commerce, Category Management, or Online Retail Analytics .
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital customer journeys.
• Experience analyzing sales data, customer trends, and merchandising performance metrics.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools .
• Experience with product information management (PIM), content management systems (CMS), and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong Excel skills including data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, Adobe Commerce, or similar platforms .
• Knowledge of SEO, search optimization, and digital content strategy.
• Experience in retail, consumer products, marketplace, or omnichannel environments.
• Familiarity with personalization, recommendation engines, and digital experimentation.
• SQL knowledge for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience working with Agile teams and digital product teams.
