Job Overview


The Quality Supervisor is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the company's quality management system and ensuring that all chillers, components, and manufacturing processes meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, regulatory standards, and company quality objectives. This position will play a critical role in developing quality processes, inspection standards, documentation systems, corrective action processes, and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and work instructions to support manufacturing operations.
  
  
  
• Establish inspection standards, quality control plans, and acceptance criteria for chiller and component production.
  
  
  
• Lead incoming material inspection activities and ensure supplier compliance with engineering specifications and quality requirements.
  
  
  
• Conduct production audits and in-process inspections to verify adherence to manufacturing procedures, drawings, and specifications.
  
  
  
• Oversee final inspection and testing activities, including pressure, leak, electrical, functional, and performance testing prior to shipment.
  
  
  
• Manage non-conforming materials and products, conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  
  
  
• Analyze quality metrics and manufacturing performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, scrap, rework, and warranty claims
  
  
  
• Support ISO 9001 compliance, quality audits, employee training, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are me
  
  
  

• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
  
  
• Experience with quality management systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
  
  
  
• Experience with inspection techniques, testing methods, and calibration programs.
  
  
  

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
  
  
  
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, piping, refrigeration, or assembly manufacturing processes.
  
  
  
• Ability to analyze quality issues and perform root cause investigations.
  
  
  
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Service teams.
  
  
  
• Strong documentation, record-keeping, and communication skills
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  
  
  
• Experience in HVAC, chiller, refrigeration, industrial equipment, or mechanical/electrical assembly manufacturing.
  
  
  
• Experience establishing, implementing, or improving quality systems.
  
  
  
• Prior supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
  
  
  
• Experience developing inspection standards, quality control plans, and quality documentation.
  
  
  
• Experience managing supplier quality and incoming material inspections.
  
  
  
• Experience leading corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and non-conformance investigations.
  
  
  
• Experience supporting internal and external quality audits.
