Renaissance Milwaukee West, a premium distinctive AAA Four Diamond hotel, is seeking a Beverage and Food Outlets Attendant to join our Team in Eldr+Rime.

Summary:

Provide guests with a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely experience within the beverage and food outlets (i.e. restaurant market, lobby bar, and in-room dining).  Maintain cleanliness and order of beverage   and food outlets, assisting in both front of house and back of house duties. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.
• Take guest orders of market food and beverage items.   
• Prepare coffee and specialty coffee beverages to guest order. 
• Use observation, intuition, and spontaneity in describing beverage and food items and assisting guest in selection of items, when needed.  
• Engage with guest while also ensuring guest line moves swiftly and guest expectations are met (while operating at a register). 
• Take, serve (or deliver) beverage and food orders and secure payment (at the market counter or to a guest table within the restaurant, lobby lounge, or to guest room). 
• Deliver in-room dining orders promptly, adhering to established company procedures. 
• Complete bussing duties of guest tables, as needed; restock condiments, remove debris, clean table, polish utensils, etc.
• Maintain presentation of market display. Organize and restock market as needed.
• Maintain clean and sanitized beverage and food outlets. Wipe up spills, remove debris from counters and surrounding areas, and remove trash. Ensure that restaurant is staged and set for the next meal service.
• Operate cash register and handle cash. Must be apt in handling money, currency, coins (as well as credit card, debit card, and check transactions). Follow proper drawer closing and opening procedures to ensure no miscalculation in counting money. Maintain records regarding transactions on computer.
• Complete Beverage and Food Outlet Attendant duties in various beverage and food outlets, as needed (including restaurant, in-room dining, lobby bar, and club lounge).
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Practice safety standards at all times.
• Other duties as required. 

  Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food and beverage position, preferably with cash handling experience 
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Compensation:

• The starting pay for this position is $15.00 per hour.
