Marketing PlannerMarketing Planner Long term Contract- 1 year (with possible extension) Hybrid in Northern Suburbs- 3 days onsite/2 days remote Our client, a global pharmaceutical company located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Marketing Planner with payer marketing experience. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing payer marketing plans and programs needed to support the in-field team in securing and maintaining market access. This is a team-based environment to participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies and lead the implementation of tactics to maximize market access with specific focus on launch indications. Internally, fosters positive working relationships with market access account teams, medical, market research, sales training, regulatory, HEOR, marketing analytics, and brand marketing teams. Externally, work with various agencies and consultants to successfully drive the business.Top 3-5 skills: Payer marketing experience and/or launch experience preferred in pharmaceutical space Project Management Data Analysis & Measurement Communication & Story Telling Solid understanding of market access environment Customer and Market InsightsResponsibilities: Development and execution of high-impact marketing tactics that are innovative and executable to support healthcare decision makers. This includes supporting the creation and pull through of marketing materials throughout the review process. Requires the ability to provide in-depth insights based on product / market assessments, understand the changing healthcare landscape, and assimilate key stakeholder feedback to make strategic & tactical recommendations. Collaboration and partnership with internal cross functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure integration and consistency of business strategy alignment. Close partnership and alignment required with brand colleagues to support brand priorities and indication launches. Work with Market Access teams to understand payer policies and drivers to quality access and proactively identify potential opportunities and conceptualize solutions using creativity and innovation. Effectively track and manage marketing budget for areas of responsibility. Consistently manage multiple projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion. Track detailed launch execution on payer formulary adoption. Continually evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate. Proactively support the account teams through ongoing communications of marketing programs. Serve as Market Access lead on the Integrated Operations Tem to ensure executional launch alignmentQualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. Minimum of 3+ years pharma marketing experience required. Experience with Veeva is a plus Apply marketing concepts in the development of marketing plans and programs including portfolio value story, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, market research, marketing objectives/strategies, account segmentation-based engagement Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills. Experience working with payer policy documents Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution urgency, and follow-through. Analytical skills including analysis and tracking of budgets Strong collaboration and team orientation, with experience accomplishing results through others and influencing others without direct authority. Efficient project management and communication capabilities along with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Knowledge of market trends and competitive practices related to health systems and group practices.
