A well-established residential HVAC company in Fairfield County is seeking an experienced In-Home HVAC Sales Consultant to join its growing team.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Meeting with homeowners for scheduled in-home sales appointments
• Evaluating customer comfort concerns and discussing system needs
• Presenting heating, cooling, and indoor comfort solutions
• Explaining equipment options, features, benefits, and available upgrades
• Preparing and reviewing proposals with customers
• Addressing questions and helping customers confidently make purchasing decisions
• Completing sales documentation and securing payment
• Coordinating sold projects with installation and operations teams
• Following up with customers throughout the sales process
• Maintaining accurate sales and customer records

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of HVAC, home-services, or skilled-trade sales experience
• Proven ability to build rapport and close residential sales
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Consultative approach to selling rather than high-pressure tactics
• Ability to explain technical information in a customer-friendly way
• Strong organization, follow-up, and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing a sales schedule
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar business software
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to safely navigate residential job sites, including climbing ladders when necessary

Experience with residential load calculations, HVAC financing, or major residential equipment brands is a plus.
