Adjunct Physics instructor

Adjunct Physics Instructor – Immaculata University, Immaculata, PA Type: Adjunct/Part-Time Responsibilities Plan, organize, and deliver physics instruction in a didactic classroom setting to promote student success. Support and promote the university and departmental missions centered on excellence in teaching and learning through quality instruction and curriculum enhancement. Practice student-centered instructional strategies. Provide students with frequent, timely assessment of and clear feedback regarding academic performance. Appropriately document student progress and maintain accurate records such as attendance, grading and achievement of student learning outcomes. Handle lab duties: present a short introduction to the lab, facilitate and guide student lab work, grade lab reports, use the Moodle LMS to provide resources and enter lab grades, clean up after the lab, and collaborate with other physics professors for instruction coordination. Coordinate with the lab manager and other faculty to ensure safety requirements are met. Requirements Master's degree or above. Teaching experience and knowledge of physics subject matter. Demonstrated ability to use technology and experience with a learning management system (LMS); proficiency with Moodle is preferred.
