Full-Time Private Chef Atherton, CAA warm, health-conscious family is looking for a full-time Private Chef to take ownership of daily meals with creativity, freshness, and real attention to detail. The ideal candidate works with a mindful, low-key presence in the home, is warm and easygoing with children in the household, and brings a genuine "yes, can-do" attitude along with strong communication skills.ResponsibilitiesPrepare dinner Sunday-Thursday, plus some lunches and easy grab-and-go breakfast items and snacksHandle full grocery shopping for all family mealsAccommodate household dietary preferences with ease and creativityPrepare a simplified, age-appropriate version of family meals for childrenBring creativity and variety to weekly menus, exploring a range of cuisinesOccasionally support dinner parties and larger seasonal eventsSubmit menus in advance for reviewKeep kitchen staples stocked and the kitchen clean and organized at all timesQualifications3+ years of experience as a Private Chef for a family; high-end restaurant experience is a plusStrong, creative approach to healthy, vegetable-forward cookingComfortable managing grocery shopping and kitchen organization independentlyWarm, low-key, and easy to have as part of the household rhythmLegally authorized to work in the United StatesLocal to the Bay AreaWilling to undergo a background check and provide strong professional referencesCompensation$65-$90 per hour | DOE 40 hours guaranteed per weekFull benefits including: Healthcare stipend, 15 PTO days (majority to be taken during family travel), paid holidays to be discussed with client, access to a retirement plan through Calsavers, discretionary bonus
