Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented of Marketing Coordinator to join our team in supporting the Foundation's communications, promotions, and donor engagement initiatives. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong proficiency in marketing strategy development, communications planning, and project management, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring projects remain aligned with organizational objectives, timelines, and brand standards. Exceptional organizational, collaboration, and workflow coordination skills are essential for success in this role. Experience with graphic design fundamentals (including typography, layout, and color theory), and content editing is highly desirable and considered a valuable asset to the position. Prior experience working on a wide range of marketing functions, including branding, communications, advertising, digital marketing, and content creation is preferred. Qualifications Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage marketing and communications projects from concept to completion, including scheduling, workflow management, milestone tracking, vendor coordination, and quality assurance. Creativity: Adept storyteller that engages, informs, and inspires through concepts and ideas in both print and electronic formats. Accountability: Excellent time management skills and ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Communication: Excellent written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and aptitude for relationship building. Initiative: Eager to create efficiencies and improve processes while remaining self-motivated and collaborative. Adaptability: Open to new ideas, flexible, and responsive to change. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders while contributing to a collaborative environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Project Management, General Media, Strategic Communications, or related field. Experience: 2+ years of experience in Communications, Project Management, General Media, or related field. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop creative solutions that meet organizational objectives and exceed expectations. Serve as project manager for assigned communications and marketing initiatives, ensuring timelines, approvals, deliverables, and deadlines are consistently met. Coordinate project schedules, organize production timelines, and communicate progress updates to leadership and stakeholders. Manage projects simultaneously from conception to completion while maintaining high-quality standards and budget expectations. Facilitate communication between departments, outside vendors, freelancers, and ministry partners to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor campaign performance and assist with evaluating project effectiveness through reporting, analytics, and feedback review. Specific Role and Responsibilities 1. Project Management & Marketing Coordination a. Participate in planning meetings and maintain project schedules for marketing initiatives. b. Coordinate deliverables between internal teams, vendors, designers, printers, photographers, and ministry partners. c. Work with the Marketing Team to ensure all projects remain aligned with strategic objectives, budget expectations, and deadlines. d. Develop systems and workflows to improve project efficiency, accountability, and communication across teams. e. Track project milestones and provide regular progress updates to the Marketing Team. 2. Digital Marketing and Communications Responsibilities a. Create and manage segmented email campaigns through HubSpot and MailChimp. b. Coordinate targeted communication initiatives for major Foundation campaigns and events. c. Supervise survey integrations and automated workflows for effective follow-up and lead generation. d. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to maintain current and engaging web content. a. Create and manage content calendars and content production across social platforms. b. Supervise paid advertising and promotional campaigns. c. Execute social engagement strategies to strengthen audience interaction and visibility. 4. Content Creation a. Write and edit articles, scripts, speeches, and marketing content. b. Collaborate on donor engagement and leadership communications. 5. Events a.Assist with coordination, promotion and registration of assigned events. b.Attend assigned events across the state as needed. Special Considerations Because of the Christian focus of our ministry, our staff are active members of evangelical churches.
