Opportunity

The Kitchen Manager is a hands-on leadership position responsible for helping lead the people, systems, and daily execution of kitchen operations at Chick-fil-A Opelousas. This is not a leadership role from the sidelines. The Kitchen Manager works alongside the team, coaches and develops leaders, maintains high operational standards, and helps create an environment where people can perform at their best. This leader will have the opportunity to make an impact across food safety, speed of service, quality, team development, and overall kitchen performance. Your Impact

• Lead from the front in daily kitchen operations, creating an environment where both people and performance thrive
  
• Coach, mentor, and develop Operations Leads, Team Leaders, Trainers, and Team Members while building a strong leadership bench
  
• Drive operational excellence across food quality, food safety, speed of service, cleanliness, and the overall guest experience
  
• Maintain strong kitchen systems including inventory, food cost, equipment, opening, transition, and closing procedures
  
• Set clear expectations, track results, and hold the team accountable while treating every team member with honor, dignity, and respect
  
• Identify opportunities for improvement, take initiative to solve problems, and help the team adapt as the business grows
  
• Partner closely with Front of House and fellow leaders to ensure the restaurant operates as one unified team
  
• Maintain readiness for Chick-fil-A operational assessments, Quality Improvement Visits, and food safety audits
  
• Invest in the growth of individual team members by identifying potential, providing coaching, and creating opportunities for increased leadership responsibility
  
• Take ownership of the overall health, culture, and continuous improvement of kitchen operations
  

Background Profile

• 2+ years of leadership experience
  
• Experience leading and developing teams
  
• Experience training, coaching, teaching, or mentoring others
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Demonstrated grit, humility, initiative, and personal accountability
  
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  
• Restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
  
• Strong food safety or high-volume operational experience preferred
  
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
  
• Passion for people development, hospitality, and Chick-fil-A's values
