Vet Consultation Services Technician

Position Veterinary Technician – Hill’s VCS Services (Hybrid) Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States Travel required: up to 10% of time Responsibilities Respond to inquiries and complaints via phone calls and emails from veterinary professionals and Hill’s employees Assess the contact’s needs to determine the appropriate response and call deposition Provide product information and feeding details for non‑complicated cases Support Veterinary Health Care Team members with company policies and service procedures Follow up on action items to ensure customer needs are met Provide information about product changes, new product attributes, and current marketing promotional information Maintain technical knowledge and professional certifications to assure accurate and consistent responses to internal and external customers Participate in presentations of VCS services, case consults, projects, and collaborations with other departments Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree Credentialed Veterinary Technician with an active license Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary environment Experience typing while talking to document calls Proficiency with Google Suites, MS Word, and Excel Ability to perform elementary nutritional arithmetic such as calculations of water and energy requirements and food requirements based on dietary caloric density Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and writing skills Strong relationship‑building and teamwork skills Compensation and Benefits Salary range $52,800.00 – $72,000.00 USD Medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and 401(k) plan with company matching contributions Minimum 15 vacation/PTO days; 13 paid holidays Paid sick leave in accordance with local laws Equal Opportunity Employer Colgate is an equal‑opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, marital status, veteran status (United States positions), or any other characteristic protected by law.
