Staff Accountant

Responsibilities The focus of this role is on being a well-rounded accounting professional who supports a variety of accounting and financial functions, including: Maintain and analyze inventory and production costing. Verify, record, and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Prepare and post accurate general ledger journal entries. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes. Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Assist with payroll processing and related reporting. Analyze financial data and prepare ad hoc reports for management. Collaborate with operations, plant personnel, and management to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and other advanced functions; Power Query or VBA experience is a plus). Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Experience with Foundation Software, HeavyBid, or similar ERP/accounting software is a plus.
