Construction Site Safety Officer (SSHO)Military Construction Projects | Kings Bay Naval Base Saint Mary's, GA and surrounding areasJoin RQC, LLC, a leading Design-Build contractor specializing in military, federal, and large-scale commercial construction projects across the United States.We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Officer (SSHO) to support military construction projects in the Saint Mary's, Georgia area for ongoing work at Kings Bay Naval Base. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional with experience in commercial construction, federal projects, NAVFAC, USACE, DoD construction, EM 385-1-1 compliance, and OSHA regulations.Since 1996, RQC has grown into a nationwide organization delivering complex Design-Build projects valued from $25M to over $250M. We offer a collaborative culture, long-term career growth, and the opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects.Position SummaryThe SSHO serves as the onsite safety leader and is responsible for implementing and enforcing project safety programs in accordance with:EM 385-1-1OSHA standardsAccident Prevention Plans (APP)Contract requirementsRQC Safety Management SystemThis role works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain a safe, compliant, and productive jobsite.This is a full-time, onsite position.
