Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across a spectrum of populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric, employing both standardized measures and observational tools.
• Create individualized treatment strategies addressing both immediate goals and the long-term needs related to communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Deliver dedicated one-on-one speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Provide educational resources for patients and their families to support continued progress outside clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment, ensuring seamless care throughout the journey of healing.
• Keep precise and timely records that comply with all regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Experience through a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from start of employment.
