Description

• Conduct evaluations on patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations employing both standardized assessments and observational insights.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies that target immediate needs and long-term communication and swallowing goals.
• Deliver tailored one-on-one speech therapy focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate holistic care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families to assist with their progress beyond clinical interventions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment journey.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation that adheres to state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in your field through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not achieved ASHA certification yet.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
