Addiction Psychiatrist – Healthy Minds Chestnut Ridge (Morgantown, WV) West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, seeks an Addiction Psychiatrist to join the Healthy Minds Chestnut Ridge team. The role involves providing addiction psychiatry services, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participating in research initiatives related to substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities Practice addiction psychiatry, including patient care and medication‑assisted treatment. Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in addiction medicine and psychiatric fellowships. Participate in the Comprehensive Opioid Addiction Treatment (COAT) program and other statewide efforts. Collaborate with telemedicine, satellite clinics, and remote community outreach. Contribute to research on technologies such as focused ultrasound, deep brain stimulation, and transcranial magnetic stimulation for substance use disorders. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for WV medical licensure. Completed psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship. Board‑certified or eligible in addiction psychiatry. All qualifications met at time of appointment.
