Join Denver Health Medical Center, a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center, as a BC/BE Neurointensivist and help shape the future of a growing Neurocritical Care program. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Division of Neurosurgery in a collaborative, academic environment with the opportunity to build a premier neurocritical care service while advancing education, quality improvement, and clinical research. Denver Health operates a 23-bed Trauma/Surgical ICU, 24-bed Medical ICU, and 10-bed Pediatric ICU. The successful candidate will provide neurocritical care co-management for critically ill neurologic and neurosurgical patients across these units while working alongside multidisciplinary critical care teams. As the program expands to three full-time neurointensivists, you will play a key role in developing a dedicated Neurocritical Care Unit and supporting Denver Health as an accredited Primary Stroke Center. Highlights Academic appointment with the University of Colorado School of Medicine (Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery). Approximately 20 clinical service weeks annually (split between neurotrauma and neurocritical care consultation). Opportunity to teach residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers. Ideal Candidate: We welcome fellowship-trained Neurocritical Care physicians from Neurology or Neurosurgery backgrounds who are passionate about neurotrauma, complex neurosurgical critical care, education, and program building. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Neurology or Neurosurgery residency. Completion of an accredited Neurocritical Care fellowship.
