Position: Machinist

• Location: Auburn Hills
• Type: Long-Term Contract with opportunity to convert to direct employee

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM / 4:30 PM with OT)

Location:  NC

Required:

• • 6-8 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 3 years focused on multi-axis CNC machining centers and/or CNC lathes in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Mastercam to allow for program adjustments and experience with FANUC controls.
  • Advanced print reading and interpretation. Advanced knowledge of QA supplied measuring equipment.

Preferred:

• • Experience with multiple materials like plastic, stainless steel, brass, and aluminum including their machinability for print compliance.
  • Advanced understanding and usage of metric-based manufacturing processes and documentation, including setup sheets and inspection protocols.
