Boeing Test and Evaluation is searching for an Experimental Test Pilot to take the role of an Air Dominance Chief Pilot (Senior Manager) and join our team in Berkeley MO .

In this role you will lead advanced flight test and experimental aircraft programs while supervising and developing a team of test pilots and mid-level managers. You will work alongside a high-performing cross-functional team focused on developing nextgeneration stateoftheart capabilities for Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) including Air Dominance and Phantom Works.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Operates aircraft and manages test pilots and first-level managers performing aircrew duties including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft
• Performs and manages activities to plan conduct and evaluate ground and test flights
• Leads aircrew activities to support design efforts
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives
• Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
• Manages develops trains and evaluates test pilots and first-level managers
• Job requires FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with the appropriate endorsements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study
• 10 years ofexperience supporting a military flight test program
• 10 years of experience in military tactical aviation
• Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate or must have the ability to obtain one

• 1500 flight hours as Pilot in Command of turbine powered jet aircraft

• Ability to pass the U.S. Navy and/or U.S. Air Force water survival and physiology training
• Test Pilot School (TPS) Graduate

• 5th Generation Fighter aircraft or 6th Generation Fighter development experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Masters Degree or higher in Engineering

• Current and qualified in a tactical type aircraft
