Part‑Time Groomer - North Cobb Animal Hospital We are seeking a Part‑Time Groomer to ensure the safety and well‑being of pets through expert grooming. Position Overview As a Groomer, you collaborate with clients to provide high‑quality groom services. The role requires advanced grooming skills, excellent customer service, organizational ability, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in bathing, drying, ear cleaning, deep brushing, de‑matting, breed‑specific cuts, teeth brushing, and nail trimming. Manage pet intake, engage with clients during drop‑off and pick‑up, and communicate effectively. Explain the grooming process and recommend services based on pet needs. Provide cost estimates and timeframes. Collaborate with front desk to schedule appointments. Maintain detailed grooming records. Consult clients after sessions about future needs. Adhere to appointment schedule. Select appropriate bathing products and tools. Trim and comb hair to breed standards. Use safe handling techniques to keep pets calm. Monitor pet health and alert to any medical issues. Maintain cleanliness of grooming area. Show passion for quality pet care. Fulfill other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Required) Certified Groomer. Responsible for own equipment and supplies. Willing to groom felines. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Minimum 2 years of grooming experience.
