About the Position Incumbent will serve as the classification action officer for the G1 DCS for Personnel and Logistics, HQ, U.S. Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS) and provide a full range of civilian personnel advice for key managers, developing guidelines on programs that are often complex and controversial. Specialized Experience One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes : (1) Applying OPM Classification Standards to accurately classify positions; (2) Managing and issuing classification evaluation decisions in compliance with established guidelines; (3) Analyzing position management and organizational structures to ensure efficiency and alignment with mission objectives; (4) Delivering training and providing oversight to classification staff and managers to maintain consistency and adherence to policies.
