Collections Coordinator

Our client is a prestigious national law firm with headquarters in NYC . They are seeking a Collections Coordinator to join the team. The position is hybrid and based 3 out of 5 days at their office in Midtown, Manhattan . Job Responsibilities Contact clients about outstanding payments Review accounts to create a strategy for client collection efforts Monitor and review reports to assess collections needs for partners and counsel Handle escalated collection issues and disputes Properly document payment agreements and communications Resolve client account receivable issues Maintain positive relationships with clients Analyze data to forecast trends Research payment history to create special payment agreements Meet with partners and other members of the collections team to discuss special payment agreements Prepare collection activity reports Provide monthly status reports on collection activities Manage reminder notice process for all accounts Collaborate with third-party collections agencies to assist in collection efforts Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of legal experience required Prior accounting/billing and collections experience Bachelor’s degree preferred (in accounting or business) Knowledge of legal cash collections and best practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of Elite, 3E Accounting, or SAP is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer service experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Compensation Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 based on experience Bonus Paid overtime Gainor provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender (including gender identity and expression), age, national origin, immigration status, marital or familial status, citizenship status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, reproductive health decision making, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Gainor
