Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Location: Anchorage, AK

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts with a rotating schedule including weekends from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehab services team in an inpatient acute care facility. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, assisting individuals in overcoming challenges resulting from injury, illness, or disability.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and speech-language pathologists.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR EPIC.
• Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• OT Certification is required.
• Acute care experience is essential.
