Graphic Designer

Criterion is seeking a versatile and experienced graphic designer to join our small cross-disciplinary creative team in New York City. In this role, you will support the design team by working on a wide range of creative assets for our social, marketing, theatrical, and brand channels. You will work closely with our creative, marketing, and editorial teams on the day-to-day execution of the Criterion and Janus brands across digital campaigns, social-media graphics, theatrical release materials, email campaigns, branded print collateral, and events and activations. You are a flexible, high-output creative who works well within established brand/design systems, and you can move fluidly between channels and formats to tailor content without sacrificing quality or brand integrity. You are detail-oriented and collaborative, can balance creativity and performance, and are passionate about film. What you’ll do: Collaborate with art directors, marketers, designers, and copywriters to design and produce high-performing brand assets Design and adapt creative assets for social media, marketing materials, display ads, email, and website imagery Maintain brand consistency and high visual standards across all digital and physical assets Ensure all files are built and organized correctly, and meet technical standards for delivery Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and creative-performance goals What you’ll bring: +/- 5 years’ experience in a brand, agency, or in-house creative environment a clean portfolio showcasing strong fundamentals in typography, color, and composition experience designing within established brand guidelines and design systems an aptitude for time management, organization, collaboration, and direct communication the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and a willingness to incorporate industry best practices proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, experience with Figma and HTML is a plus Strong file-management skills and attention to detail Prior experience at a cultural institution, entertainment company, or media/lifestyle brand company Genuine interest in cinema #J-18808-Ljbffr
