Human Resources Manager

LHH is sourcing for a solo HR Manager in the East Troy, WI area. This role will have a HYBRID opportunity, but will also require traveling to multiple plants. As the Solo HR Manager, you will oversee all core HR activities including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, benefits coordination, and day‑to‑day HR operations. You’ll serve as the go‑to partner for leadership and employees, building trust, supporting business objectives, and maintaining a positive, safe, and compliant workplace. Key Responsibilities Lead all HR functions as a department of one, supporting both leadership and employees. Manage employee relations, investigations, coaching, and corrective action. Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and new‑hire orientation. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws. Handle benefits administration, leave management, and payroll coordination. Support performance management and employee development programs. Maintain accurate HR records, HRIS data, and reporting. Drive culture initiatives, engagement efforts, and communication strategies. Serve as a trusted resource while balancing business needs with employee support. Qualifications 5+ years of well-rounded HR experience; solo HR or small-team HR experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries is a plus. Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality. Comfortable in a hands‑on, fast‑paced, independent work environment. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
