Job Summary:

The People Operations Specialist plays a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This position serves as a key partner to employees and leaders, providing support across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, HR operations, and employee engagement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support recruiting efforts, including posting positions, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews and coordinating candidate communications

Partner with the Director of People and management to support employee performance, engagement, coaching, and employee relations matters.

Facilitate a positive onboarding experience by partnering with managers and new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.

Assist with investigations and documentation related to employee concerns and workplace issues.

Assist with employee accommodation requests.

Coordinate employee recognition and engagement programs.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Generate and analyze HR reports, metrics, and workforce data to support decision-making.

Support internal audits and compliance reporting requirements.

Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and employee experiences.

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, employee relations, recruiting, and HR operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer service-focused, employee-centric approach.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

24 years of Human Resources, People Operations, or related experience.
