Senior Staff Accountant

The senior staff accountant will assist the finance/accounting department with all aspects of the monthly close.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Month end close activities
• Prepare & post journal entries
• Monthly account reconciliations
• Expense account analytics
• Maintain fixed assets posting, records and reporting
• Meet month end deadlines
• Management reporting
• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

5-7 years related experience; previous experience with general ledger monthly or quarterly close a requirement; public/private background desirable but not a requirement; experience with SAP preferred; strong written and oral communication skills; must be proficient in Excel; education: bachelors degree in accounting.

Salary range- $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per annum
