Role Overview As a Systems Engineer, you will leverage Power BI reporting, develop QuickBase applications, and support SAP readiness and implementation. Your contributions will directly impact operational excellence and strategic goal achievement by creating interactive reports, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing workflows through custom applications. Key Responsibilities Collect data from sources including Lean ERP, SharePoint files, QuickBase, Sales Force, and other datasets. Integrate systems to streamline business processes. Support SAP preparation and on‑site implementation. Manage statistical metadata and assess data quality. Handle confidential information responsibly. Create mechanisms for exploring structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data. Commission and decommission datasets. Define new collection techniques and identify patterns. Generate insights from the available information. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Examine trends in data to improve manufacturing efficiency. Create Power BI reports, dashboards, and applications for management analysis. Develop and deploy applications within the QuickBase environment. Build automations for internal processes. Translate operational requirements into system design decisions. Support functional leaders during change management, training, and stabilization. Ensure the system improves shop‑floor execution rather than hinders it. Complete other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Ability to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship. Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, supply chain, or related field. 6‑10 years of systems experience with hands‑on ERP or digital transformation. Strong understanding of ERP, production planning, inventory management, supply chain, and financial flows. Hands‑on experience with Power BI, low‑code platforms such as QuickBase or similar, data migration, and system integration (SAP). Demonstrated experience locating and defining new process improvement opportunities based on ERP data. SAP certification is a plus; Power BI certification preferred; QuickBase certification preferred. Required Skills & Knowledge Analytical mindset. Independent operation with executive‑level accountability. Strong communication across IT, operations, and leadership. Logical and methodical problem‑solving approach. Effective multi‑tasking and simultaneous project management independent of close supervision. Proven experience leading ERP implementations, preferably SAP in manufacturing. Proficient in data collection, statistical modeling, data mining, database management, report generation, data visualization, and business process development. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma analysis. Collaborative cross‑functional work and maintenance of key professional and customer relationships. Current on latest technology and analytic best practices. Proficient with MS Office, Visio, and related tools. ERP (Lean or SAP) and Power BI experience a plus. Power Automate and QuickBase knowledge a plus. Strong customer service focus and business development planning skills. Safety and quality focus with an innovative spirit.
