About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join its executive management team. The CMO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure high-quality care and coverage for insured seniors, military families, and retirees. This role demands a physician executive with a proven track record in progressive leadership, particularly within high-performing health plans. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the delivery of care and coverage across an expanding geographic footprint, with a focus on maintaining access to care and an exceptional customer experience for members and provider partners. Collaboration is a critical aspect of the CMO position, and the ideal candidate will be adept at working with physicians, providers of various backgrounds, and administrators at all levels. The CMO is expected to be a visible and approachable leader, with a transparent and proactive communication style. While not mandatory, demonstrated technical experience with government products is strongly preferred. The role is pivotal in positioning the organization for continued growth and requires a leader who is operationally sound, progressive, and deeply committed to the mission of creating healthy communities through the highest quality of care and coverage.
