About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Obstetrics to provide strategic, clinical, educational, and scholarly leadership for its distinguished division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing faculty, clinical operations, quality initiatives, educational programs, and academic growth, with a strong focus on patient-centered care, innovation in women's health, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. Key responsibilities include providing vision and leadership across all missions, advancing high-quality, evidence-based obstetric care, and supporting faculty development, mentorship, and recruitment. The role also involves partnering with institutional leadership to drive strategic initiatives, supporting scholarly activity, and promoting an environment that values diversity, equity, and belonging. Applicants for the Chief of Obstetrics position at the company should possess an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree, board certification in obstetrics and gynecology, and academic accomplishments warranting appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in obstetric clinical care, medical education, and leadership within an academic medical center or large clinical practice. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative leadership skills are essential, as is a commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Preferred qualifications include previous leadership experience, a background in overseeing Certified Nurse Midwives, and a demonstrated success in scholarly activity, clinical research, or clinical innovation.
