BCG Attorney Search
Job Overview
A law firm seeks a midlevel associate with 4-5 years of experience to join its M&A and Private Equity Group in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on supporting the Beauty and Wellness practice, advising on equity and debt financings, and handling M&A and private equity transactions.
Duties
- Manage due diligence and draft transaction documents for M&A and private equity deals.
- Negotiate transaction documents for equity financings.
- Coordinate with internal legal specialists on regulatory, tax, employment, and IP matters.
- Counsel on corporate governance and advise on joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of law firm experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
- Experience advising early- and growth-stage companies on financings.
- Preferred experience in beauty, personal care, wellness, or consumer products sectors.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admitted to the bar in the state of California.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
