Payroll assistant

Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional with a background in the construction industry? We are working with a leading company who is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their Finance team in Alpharetta, GA.

You will be the backbone of their weekly payroll operations, ensuring their union and non-union craft workforces are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strict compliance with complex reporting requirements. Responsibilities

• Weekly Payroll Excellence: Collect and validate timekeeping data, ensuring precise job cost coding, shift differentials, and overtime calculations.
• Union & Prevailing Wage Compliance: Maintain union wage rates and fringes per collective bargaining agreements. You will also prepare and submit WH-347 certified payroll reports and monitor agency feedback to ensure seamless payment flows.
• Insurance Reporting: Support OCIP/CCIP enrollment and payroll exposure reporting for both public and private projects.
• Collaborative Support: Partner closely with HR, Project Management, and field teams to resolve timekeeping issues and support onboarding.
• Record Management: Manage garnishments and maintain audit-ready payroll files and records.
