• Ensure the accuracy of results through careful analysis, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document every procedure, help train new staff or students, and commit to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Keep a pristine, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your employment.
