Lead Estimator

Salary: USD115000 - USD115000 per year. This is a full-time, in-office leadership role responsible for commercial paint and wallcovering estimating, bid follow-up, relationship development, and backlog growth. The successful candidate will maintain personal estimating production while contributing to process improvements and supporting future departmental growth. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate commercial paint and wallcovering estimates Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing, scope review, and proposal preparation Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Coordinate pricing with vendors and subcontractors Identify scope gaps, project risks, and value engineering opportunities Manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and industry partners Perform bid follow-up and manage sales pipeline activity Support backlog growth and negotiated opportunities Assist in improving estimating systems, standards, and processes Collaborate with operations and project management teams during project turnover Support mentoring and development of future estimating staff Qualifications 5+ years of commercial Division 9 estimating experience preferred Strong knowledge of commercial paint systems, coatings, and wallcoverings Experience estimating commercial interior and exterior projects Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Experience with PlanSwift, OST, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software preferred Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 annually (based on experience) Performance-based bonus opportunity Paid Time Off Vision and Dental coverage Professional development opportunities Long-term growth and leadership potential #J-18808-Ljbffr
