Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Missouri City, TX, this contract-to-hire opportunity offers a vital role for an experienced pharmacist in a closed-door pharmacy environment. The position requires delivering precise and compliant final verification of compounded prescriptions, ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final verification of compounded prescriptions before dispensing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Review prescription orders for clinical appropriateness, dosage accuracy, patient data, potential drug interactions, formulation integrity, and proper labeling.
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years' pharmacist experience, with preference given to those familiar with closed-door pharmacy operations.
